Thanks Card & Happy Mail

I made this card for a challenge over at 4 Scrappy Sisters. We were challenged to make a card using brown, red, and yellow, circles, and some stamping. This is what I came up with.


When I read the color combination, I immediately thought of this We R Memory Keepers paper. I cut circles from the patterned paper with my Coluzzle. I stamped "Thanks" with a stamp from my Everyday Expressions Stampin' Up set. Two circles and the sentiment are popped up from the card. I also added some brown dotted ribbon around the ticket punched card front. This card didn't photograph well, because the yellow that I stamped the sentiment on and the yellows in the circles look very different in the photograph, but in real life, they're very similar. Oh well!


I also got some goodies from Wendy at ScrapCity. I won two challenges that she issued during the Virtual Crop over the leap day weekend at the end of February. I won both the "think outside the box" use cardboard on your layout and the "playing with a full deck?" use playing cards on your layout challenges. Wendy sent me some goodies for winning.
