So, now the front of this card might make sense! I clearly missed her MORE! When I gave her the card, she said, "no, you didn't", but on the inside I had already written, "Yes, I did!" Ha ha -- score one for MOM! Just a simple card with the sentiment done on the computer, a striped patterned paper scrap (My Mind's Eye) from my desk, and ribbon. The flowers, the chipboard center flower piece, and the flower-shaped rhinestones are from a QVC kit. The really large flower and a vellum flower are folded in half so they would fit on the card front. Just a fun colorful card for Jessica's return!
I have tons of errands to run, a birthday party to go to, another birthday to celebrate tomorrow (my Dad's!!), and cards to make right now! Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
A lovely thought! Nice to see you got 1 over her!!( LOL)

ReplyDeleteOh, gorgeous card for Jessica! I bet she loves it!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend, sounds like fun!
TOTALLY GORGEOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Hello!
That's a great card Carol. It did make me laugh. My kids and I do a similar thing except they will say "I love you as big as this house" and I'll say "I love you as big as all the houses on this street." and so it keeps getting bigger until we get to as big as to the end of the universe and back! They just don't get that however much they love us (and we know it's a lot) we just love them more! (We'll keep that as our little secret eh?!) :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Carol! Would you mind if I add you to my blog list?

Hi Carol - yep - it's the 52 challenges one. Her stuff is so gorgeous. I spent a fortune the other night on craft stuff, including the book...oh dear me....(I wanted a chunky alphabet to cut chipboard with, so bought the Sizzix serif essential set, but then needed to buy a BigShot to use it with! - plus another couple of dies!) I don't really mind though - I don't know about your girls, but my kids really love looking through the srapbooking I've done so far. Have agreat Sunday,
