Spring at Last!

Spring is definitely here. This is what I see when I walk out the front door. I LOVE it!

I should know what kind of tree we have in front of our house, but I'm not completely sure. I do believe it's an ornamental pear tree. Whatever it is, it's so pretty at this time of year!

This is another view from our driveway. I have to take this photo right away, because the blooms don't last long. In fact, if we get strong winds this weekend, they'll be all gone!

I don't have anything new and crafty to show you right now, but I hope to have a chance to play around today. I will be chaperoning a PTA dance tonight at the junior high, and I'm chaperoning a singing music competition tomorrow. My oldest and I need to be at the junior high tomorrow morning at 7 a.m.!! Isn't that horrible for a Saturday? My dreams of sleeping in have been shattered!! Oh well! I guess I just need to plan on sleeping in on Sunday! I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a fantastic weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

  14. I love the Bradford Pears. When they bloom I always know Spring is on the way. Too bad the blooms don't last very long, though.

  16. That's such a pretty tree. We haven't got any trees that blossom like that in our garden but on the cul-de-sac there are a few houses that have trees out front that get pink blossom on them and when you drive in in spring there's just a mass of pink. It's very pretty and a wonderful sign that the warmer weather is on it's way.
