Card Trio

I made these cards for a challenge at ScrapCity. The challenge was to create three cards using the same papers.


I loved using "slab" papers for cards, because the coordinated papers are already put together for you! These papers came from a My Mind's Eye slab that I got from Hobby Lobby. Not only did I use the same papers (a stripe, a dotted, and a solid), but I used the same flowers, the same brads, and the same two stamp sets on all three cards. I really love the way they turned out, and this color scheme really appeals to me.

I just got done cutting the grass (yuck!), and I need to get moving with my Saturday. I'm still so behind on blog hopping . . . I say that every day . . . sorry! I will get caught up soon. I hope you enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!!

    Yes, so nice to have your coordinating papers all together for you, easy peasie! Love this trio Carol! The smell of fresh cut grass is so great! At least it is out of the way fo another week or so! No HL's around here or Benjamin Moore stores. Just Michael's and a terrible Jo Ann's!

    Great cards! If you lived here you wouldn't have to worry about cutting your grass, we haven't had any rain in a loooong time!

    I do not miss mowing the lawn, it is hard to look cute while you are sweating and grass is sticking to you LOL
    Your cards are really cute, you should make them into a set since they all coordinate.

    These are great Carol. I love the coordinating papers! Such pretty colors. I have to admit, I love moving the grass. =D I am jealous. I wish I had a yard to mow.
