Layouts, Layouts, Layouts!

I've been having FUN creating lately!  I'm not lacking creative mojo . . . I'm just lacking TIME!  I'm having fun at Memorable Seasons with challenges and issuing challenges, etc.  It keeps me creative, and that I love! ♥  Stop by and play along!  From top to bottom, the layouts are based on:  a sketch by Liz, a challenge by Heather, a scraplift of Patricia (who is our member of the month), and a challenge by Donna!  The challenges are fun and always inspiring!

More Simple Stories Summer Fresh

I created a lot with my Simple Stories Summer Fresh June guest DT kit that I got from Memorable Seaons!  Here's more!

I made this card for my dad for Father's Day.  Just kept it clean and simple!

I wanted to use a fun Stampin' Up stamp I got recently from the flea market I went to, so I inked it up and put it on a card.  Fan mail . . . cracks me up!

You can never have too many birthday cards, so I made one!  I think it's cute!

This was for a doodling challenge at Memorable Seasons.  I did all of the doodling freehand!  I love the way it turned out!  I just kept turning the page and adding more.  It was fun!

This was for a challenge to deviate from the norm.  Well, I normally buy a ton of stamps and then I don't use them.  So, on this layout, I stamped!  A lot!  Cute, huh!?!  I used a bunch of stamps.

Anyway, I created A LOT with my kit!  It was fun!  Thanks for having me Memorable Seasons!  As always, thanks for stopping by!

Simple Stories Summer Fresh Layouts

I'm having a lot of fun with my Simple Stories Summer Fresh kit from Memorable Seasons.  I'm the June guest designer at Memorable Seasons.  I even got to issue a LSS (last scrapper standing challenge)!  :)

This is my LSS challenge layout example.  My challenge was borders and/or banners.  I punched the borders with my Martha Stewart border punch, then I distressed them, crumbled them, and then sewed them down.  I think they look like fabric, and I love it!

I created this layout for a red/blue/yellow LSS challenge!  I love this layout!  What else can I say!?!  :)

This is another layout I created for a challenge that I issued.  My challenge was to stamp with bubble wrap!  I love bubble wrap!  I stamped twice . . . once for a tone on tone look, and then again on the denim paper.  Isn't this a fun layout?

This is a page I created for a scraplift challenge.  Once again . . . loving this layout!  I really have enjoyed using the Summer Fresh collection!

I hope you get some creative time today!  Thanks for stopping by!

June Guest Designer at Memorable Seasons!

I am very excited to be the June Guest Designer at Memorable Seasons!  I got an awesome Simple Stories Summer Fresh kit to work with!  I have created A LOT with the kit already, but I'm just going to show you these two projects for now.  Here's a layout I created.

I love finding the crazy self-portraits that Emily and Jessica take on my camera!  They always make me laugh!  This is typical Emily and Jessica, and I love it!  I did a lot of angles and crazy sewing on this page to go with the CRAZY theme!  I also detail cut a camera from an Amy Tangerine Sketchbook paper!  I love that little detail!  The stamps I used are by Tim Holtz for Stamper's Anonymous.

This is a card I created with the collection.  I bought some fabulous May Arts ribbon, and I just had to feature it on my card!  You can find awesome products at great prices in the Memorable Seasons online store.  That's where I buy almost everything that I use when I scrapbook!

Stay tuned for a lot more projects using my kit!  Thanks for stopping by!

Me!

I've been feeling very creative lately!  I love when I have time to CREATE!!  I did this page for a challenge to create a layout about me.  I really don't have a problem scrapping myself.  I know a lot of people prefer not to scrap about themselves, but I'm fine with it.  I had just gotten all of the washi tapes in the Indie Chic collection from My Mind's Eye, and I was anxious to use them.  I love them!  I used five different rolls on this page!  The papers are also My Mind's Eye.  They are from the Follow Your Heart collection, which I also love!  I love the "listen to your soul" on the background paper!  I decided to journal right next to the washi tapes.  I like the way that turned out!  I added some Primas with Basic Grey brad centers.  I really love Basic Grey brads.  And for good measure, I decided to add my age to the page.  Hey, that rhymed!  Age to the page!  LOL!!  Age is just a number, so bring it on!  As a final touch, I add my favorite technique to my layout . . . sewing!  I love to sew on my layouts!

As always, thank for stopping by!

Why We ♥ Arizona

I scrapbooked another page on Mother's Day!  I recently won Echo Park's Hello Summer collection from The Scrap Review.  I really love the colors, especially on the backsides of the papers, so I just had to create a layout right away!  I had a bunch of collage prints from Arizona, so I put this page together.  I hand cut some banner pieces and some journaling strips.  I just think this page is so FUN!  I love how it turned out!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!  As always, thanks for stopping by!

FIVE layouts in one day!

I have some MAJOR crafting mojo going on Saturday!  It was raining and gloomy, so I stayed in my jammies and got my SCRAP on!  I completed FIVE layouts!  I had so much fun!  Here they are!

First, I worked on a challenge to mix collections from the same manufacturer.  This is about five or six collections from Fancy Pants!  I love this photo of Jessica!  She posed by the mascot of the high school on the day of her 8th grade graduation.  So FUNNY!

Next, this is gorgeous Emily all dressed up for one of her high school dances last year.  I let her choose the papers I used on her layout, and she chose My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart.  Excellent choice!  I love the way this turned out!  She beautiful!

This layout is based on an old Sketchy Thursdays sketch.  I did some masking and misting!  This is all Basic Grey Lauderdale.  I love Arizona!  :)

This one is my favorite!  This is all Echo Park's Note To Self!  This is not a Christmas collection, but I created a Christmas layout!  I love the way this layout turned out!  I love my girls so much!  ♥

Last, I created a layout with pics from my last birthday.  The girls made me a delicious funfetti cake, decorated it, and sang to me!  We ate the cake after we got home from seeing The Hunger Games!  I really enjoyed my 46th birthday!  This is all My Mind's Eye Funday!  I love this kraft collection!

So, that's it!  FIVE layouts!  What FUN!!  I was very inspired yesterday!  I love when that happens!  I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day!  As always, thanks for stopping by!  :)

The Hunger Games

Happy NSD!  Here's the first layout I created!  I used awesome Simple Stories Fabulous, because going to see The Hunger Games on my birthday with my girls was FABULOUS!  I used some Mister Huey's too!  I have a new favorite . . . SHINE!  Off to create some more!

Thanks for stopping by!  :)
