Love Card - Caardvarks Rick Rack Challenge!

I haven't done a challenge for quite some time now, so I thought it would be fun to do at least one before the year ends! Caardvarks has a Rick Rack Patty Whack Challenge going on, so I decided to join in on the fun! I hope I'm not too late with getting this posted!

I had this Provo Craft Rob & Bob paper sitting on my desk from when I made my Minnie Mouse card a couple of days ago. I used it for my card front. I ran pink felt rick rack across the front of my card. I really love rick rack! I then cut one of the words from the paper and double matted it and popped it up as an accent. The heart is from my NEW Love, Elsie Roxie stamps. I stamped it, detail cut it, and then popped it up on the front of the card. I added some rhinestones, and I was done. What do you think? Thanks for stopping by!

Lots of purchases!

I had three Archiver's coupons that were expiring on 12/31, and I decided to take a ride yesterday with my girls to use them up. The only problem is that I kinda wasted my 30% off one item coupon, because I only bought two things at regular price. Everything else I bought was on sale! My husband and girls had gotten me an Archiver's gift card for Christmas. I had no idea I would be spending it so quickly!

This is a lot of the Roxie items from Love, Elsie. I haven't purchased anything in this product line, and I really love the creations I've seen using these products! I love the red / turquoise combination! I got lots of patterned papers, small ribbon bobbins, and clear stamps! This product line is considered to be quite old now, but it's new to me!

I was the most excited to get these stamps! I had been looking at them on eBay for quite a while now, and they kept selling for too much. They retail for $14.99, so I was thrilled to get them at 50% off! I can't wait to use the "YOU ROCK" stamp on a page with my girls!

This is more Love, Elsie. These papers and large ribbons are from the Toby line. It's travel themed, but it can be used for anything. Once again, I love the colors. It's lavender, a soft green, a soft shade of blue, and some brown. I like it!

These are my two full-price items . . . the rhinestones. I got one in red and one in black. Hey, I think I saved 90 cents on one of them! I love the Queen & Co. buttons (they kinda coordinate with the Roxie papers or they'll work for Valentine's day!), and I've been wanting to try the die cut felt! I LOVE Rhonna Autumn Leaves items!

These items are from a trip to Michael's. I got all of the ribbon rolls for 70% off. They were 59 cents each. Can't beat that! The rectangular signs are for altering! They were only 50 cents each! These are so fun to alter! Take a look at this personalized plaques post I made quite some time ago! Now, how fun are they?

Happy New Year Everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Daisy Card

This is the Daisy that I cut out the other day on my Cricut using Mickey Font. She definitely needed some bling, so I added some Stickles to her eyelids. I decided that she needed to be the star on her own card!

The patterned paper is from a Provo Craft slab. The "have a great day!" stamp is a $1 acrylic stamp from Michael's. I added ribbon, a few brads, a small Prima, and rhinestones. I'm very pleased with the way this turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

Minnie Love Card

This Minnie is cut on my Cricut at 4 1/2" using Mickey Font. I used Stickles on her bow (first time I've ever covered such a large area with Stickles -- not sure if I did a good job!).

The "Love" is a Michael's $1 clear acrylic stamp, and the wonderful felt flower is from Samm! I got it as part of the fantastic blog candy I won from her a while back! Thanks Samm . . . doesn't that flower look great? I backed the flower center in black, and then I added a Making Memories pink rhinestone brad. The patterned paper is from a Provo Craft Rob & Bob Slab. I love the design! I could definitely use this as a Valentine's Day card for one of my girls, don't you think? Thanks for stopping by!

Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy!

I had some time to play tonight. Look at what I made! My husband and daughters very generously got me THREE Cricut cartridges for Christmas! Yes, they are the best! Anyway, one of the cartridges that they got for me is Mickey Font, and the characters are available on that cartridge. I cut them tonight! I love them!

I cut these at 4 1/2", and I would NOT attempt them any smaller. Daisy's one eye, one eyelid, and tongue are REALLY small. Mickey was the easiest to put together. However, I really didn't have a problem with any of them! I can't wait to play some more. Minnie and Daisy definitely need a little Stickles . . . Minnie on her bow and Daisy on her eyelids, and then they'll look more Diva-like, don't you think? Anyway, I'm super excited, and I love the way these turned out! I just wanted to share! I do believe I'll be putting them on some cards, so I'll show you those when I'm done! Thanks for stopping by!

Bargains!

My oldest daughter and I ran out last night to get some medicine for my youngest. We could have just run to Walgreens (very close to our house), but since I ran out of Christmas wrapping paper this year, I decided to run to Target so that I could pick up a couple of rolls for next year. I'm a BIG fan of the after Christmas sales! Well, I got more than a couple of rolls of wrapping paper and some medicine! I found all of these cute tags, and I think I'll be incorporating some of them in my Christmas cards next year.

I have Santa die cuts, Snowman tags, foil tags, and some tags that are actually miniature cards with string. However, check out those metal rimmed tags! I saw them before Christmas, but I didn't want to pay full price for them. Half price sounds good to me! I love the metal rimmed gift tags! I think they'll definitely inspire me next year when I'm creating my cards. The fun thing is that I'm going to put them out of sight, and then next year, they'll be like a present for me!

Then, my youngest had been admiring this ceramic penguin platter, but we really didn't need a penguin platter! However, when it's half off, you can justify owning things like this! She had also wanted to buy me a penquin coffee mug, but they were sold out, but they did still have this snowman mug, so I treated myself to an after-Christmas gift. As you can see, it has my morning coffee in it!

So, those are my bargains that I purchased last night. Love half-off sales!! I'm still kinda vacationing from blog hopping, but I will be visiting you all very soon. It might be the 2nd week of January before I visit your blog, but I will be around. Thanks for stopping by!

Another Family Photo!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I thought I would post another photo of us that was taken on Christmas Eve when we celebrated with my side of the family.

My girls are wearing new sweatshirts that my sister-in-law bought for them. My youngest has on a Tweety bird shirt (she LOVES Tweety!), and my oldest has on a Grumpy shirt (you just gotta love Grumpy!) You know they love their shirts when they put them on immediately after opening them! Princess looks like she has some laser eyes! Does anyone know if you can fix that on a digital image? She looks kinda crazy!

I'll be back to visiting blogs soon! I'm still on my blog vacation, but I just thought I would post another photo! I'm going to continue enjoying the time off with my girls and my husband! Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from all of us!

We had the first of two celebrations at our house. Celebration #1 was with my husband's side of the family. This is us at the end of the evening! We had lots of fun! Celebration #2 is on Christmas Eve with my side of the family. I'm sure we'll have a GREAT time! Thanks for stopping by!

Which Holiday Character Are You?

Hi Everyone! Samm had this on her site today, and it's kinda fun. I took the quiz, and apparently, the holiday character I am is Buddy the Elf. He's a happy guy! I'll take that as a compliment!

I'm supposed to be vacationing from blogging, and yet, here I am! I'm a crazy lady! Since I'm posting, I have to ask all of you . . . does anyone know where I can get this stamp?

It's called "Santa Collage", and it's a Rubber Stampede stamp. I've seen some creations made with this stamp, and I just LOVE this image, and yet, the stamp seems to be impossible to find? So, if any of you have an "inside scoop" on how to get this, let me know! There's something magical about this image, and I really love it! Santa's the best, don't you think?

OK, off to my vacation again! I can't wait for my girls to get home from school today, because they will be home until January 7th! Hooray! Merry Christmas and Happy 2008!! Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May the peace, love, and joy of the holiday season be with each and every one of you and your families!

I'm going to be taking a bit of a blog vacation. I have two family gatherings that I need to finish getting ready for. The first one is this Saturday, and the second one is on Christmas Eve. I'll be back to post soon, and I'm sure I'll pop back on to share some random thoughts and photos with all of you. Thank you to all of my blogging friends that take the time to stop here to see what I've been up to. You'll never know how much I appreciate you! I'll catch up with all things blog related (posting and visiting) soon! Happy Holidays! Thanks for stopping by!

SNOW DOG!

I don't have any creations to show you today, but I do have these pictures of Princess to show you!

She was having so much fun in the snow this morning! She was chasing her ball!

This is her "throw my ball" look! She has it between her front paws!

Now, how could I resist a face like that? Thanks for stopping by!

Wonderful card!

I'm so thrilled and honored to have made so many FANTASTIC blogging friends! Samm is a wonderful, very creative blogger, and look at the wonderful card that she sent to me!

I love the pink! It's gorgeous! The scallop trim and the lace is fantastic! I love the snowflake with the rhinestone bling, and that little circle says "Love, Peace, Joy". It's the perfect addition to the front of this card! Thank you Samm! I just love this card!

Off to finish MY cards! I'm so pathetically behind, but I'm trying my hardest to catch up on it all! Thanks for stopping by!

Finally! Our Family Christmas Card!

I am NOT organized this year at all! I blame it on getting ready for that craft show. Anyway, I normally have my Christmas cards done and mailed during the first week of December. This year, I'm STILL working on them. However, I did get 20 done this weekend for family friends.

I usually feature a photo of my girls on the front of the Christmas card. This year, Princess is included too. I love this photo! I took it in our backyard. The card itself is very simple. No Primas, Stickles, brads, or ribbon! It's just a photo, cardstock, and some stamping. I used the "Happy Holidays" and the snowflake from my Stampin' Up Frosty set. I ticket punched the front, and I sponged on some ink. That's it. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Sunday!

Hi Everyone! I had a wonderful Saturday catching up with two of my fantastic girlfriends. First I met a girlfriend for Starbucks, and then I met another girlfriend for lunch. I was home by 3 p.m., and then it was time to finish up a couple of things around here. We finally put the ornaments on the tree! I've had an ongoing and continuing saga with a new Christmas tree that I purchased on clearance in January, and I'm just so tired of this tree! It's a prelit tree, and there are about 4 - 5 branches that aren't lighting up. So, they sent me a new section from Hong Kong, but the pole on the new section was damaged, so I couldn't put it on the tree to see if it would even light up. Anyway, they're sending me another replacement section. I'm sure it will get here on the 23rd or later! Crazy!

Here it is finally. We have A LOT of furniture in a small living room, so this tree is just HUGE in this room! It's starting to grow on me though. The lights on it are all white lights, and we LOVE colorful lights, but I just skipped putting the extra lights on it for this year. I'll put the colorful ones on next year. The colorful ones are just so much fun!

Doesn't my Cricut Santa look wonderful on my tree? My not-so-secret sister Sharon from the Cricut message board made him for me! I love him!

I thought I would show you one of my very favorite ornaments. It was tough to pick just one! I love so many of them! Anyway, my husband and I got married early in November of 1993. My sister gave me this ornament that December WITH the photo in it. I just about cried when I opened it. It was just perfect! I love the oval shape, and I was overwhelmed with her thoughtfulness. I mean getting the ornament was one thing, but getting the ornament WITH the photo in it? That's just fantastic! So, anyway, putting this ornament on the tree each year really puts a smile on my face!

I'm off to blog hop now. Have a nice Sunday! We got about 6 inches of snow last night! It sure looks pretty! Thanks for stopping by!

I'm so EXCITED! HUGE News!

I have HUGE news to share with all of you! I got an email yesterday that shocked me, made me quite nervous, and made me stare at it in complete disbelief. I was told, "I am very pleased to inform you that your project, *****, has been accepted for publication in upcoming kids special issue of Paper Crafts magazine!" Can you believe it? I submitted an altered project, and they are going to PUBLISH it in a special issue! I'm so very excited! I need to finish typing up directions, and then I need to mail the directions and the project to them by January 4th! This special kids' issue will be out in June. I've never been published before, and it was one of my goals for 2008 . . . to be in a magazine! I LOVE Paper Crafts magazine! YEAH! I'm so happy!

I'm off today for Starbucks with a girlfriend, lunch with another girlfriend, and then home to organize, clean, and finish up decorating for Christmas! I've been a bit of a blog slacker the last couple of days, but I'll be around to visit you all in the next day or two. Thanks for stopping by!

Good Shopping Day!

Normally, I'm one of those people that has it all together when the holidays approach. This year? Not so much! I really needed one good day to get a lot done, and yesterday was it! I stopped at the post office, Walgreens (to place a photo order), Starbucks (gift cards), Sears Portrait Studio (to pick up the portrait of the six grandchildren for my mom . . . it's her gift every year), Hallmark (some gifts), another store in the mall (more gifts), Disney Store (gifts), Target (my daughter needs black pants for her upcoming concerts . . . she's getting so tall, her other black pants are now too short), Archiver's (I had a coupon burning a hole in my pocket!), and finally WalMart (lunchbox snacks and some gifts)!! This is the best part . . . I think I was home by 12 noon! I was on POWER shop mode! I then got some things wrapped, a box packed up for the post office, picked up my youngest daughter after her talent show tryout, and then made dinner. I'll be picking up my photo order and run to the post office this morning, and I'll be getting a little more organized here at home! So, one good day, and my outlook has improved considerably! I will get it all done, I just need to have some POWER days! Here's hoping today is another one!

So, with all of that said, I didn't have any time for crafting! We'll see if I can squeeze in some creative time today! Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous Christmas Cards

I just have to share a couple of gorgeous Christmas cards that I received in yesterday's mail! The first is from my girlfriend Kathy. She was totally inspired by Judith (Stamps by Judith) when we saw her at an Expo in St. Charles, IL. If you've ever seen Judith or her daughter Heather stamp, you know exactly what I mean! Judith takes one or two stamps, and she creates a masterpiece!

Speaking of masterpieces, look at what Kathy created! This tree is created with a twig stamp, and the tree is "built" by stamping many times to create the tree. Then, look at the light bulbs! They're colorful, and they have a clear lacquer on them. Plus, there's a star and background stamping! WOW! Kathy, this is amazing! I also love the green card base. The shiny swirls are fantastic! Thank you so much Kathy! I truly appreciate handmade cards!

Next, this is from Patsy! I just love this! I love the hand doodling around the scallop square. The white dots and doodles are perfect! I also LOVE the felt stars. They're so thick! The tree embellishment with the rhinestones is fantastic! Thank you so much Patsy!

These are both so gorgeous, I just had to share! I need to run MANY errands today! I hope I get done at least half of what I really want to get done! If so, that would be a productive day! Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! Check it out!

Today is the last day over at Tim Holtz's blog for the 12 Tags of Christmas, and the finale is spectacular! I have a huge shopping list of items that I want to purchase! Go check out his last tag today if you get a chance. I just love it! Plus, check out the prize package he's offering today. It's unbelievable! I'll be back later to post a couple of fantastic Christmas cards that I received! Thanks for stopping by!

Has this ever happened to you?

My husband needs nine Christmas cards for just a few business associates. I wanted to finish up those cards for him today. So, I've got my mini assembly line going, and I run out of a key element! I ran out of gold ribbon!

Instead of going out to find and buy more gold ribbon, I ended up using sheer red ribbon on three of the cards. You know what? I think I like the red better than the gold! Go figure!

Thanks for stopping by!

Over 10,000 hits! WOW!

I don't have a new creation to show you today, but I do have a couple of things to chat about!

First off, when did I go past 10,000 hits? WOW! I don't know how to filter myself out, and since I have over 150 posts, I account for some of those hits, don't I? Doesn't matter though. Over 10,000 hits! Hello! I'm not going to give away blog candy right now because everything is just too busy, but after the 1st of the year . . . look out! I'll be giving away something!

Next, Alexandra is giving away some blog candy. Check it out at her California Stampin site!

Last, I got my foam stamps a few days ago from Lisa Bearnson's site. I'm so excited! They sold out very quickly. It's her December Kit of the Month (KOTM), and it's a lot of stamps for the price! The only sad part is that I don't have time to get out the paint and play! Hopefully over the Christmas break, my girls and I will get a chance to play around with them! They look so FUN!

I need to get lots done today. I'm so behind on EVERYTHING! So tell me, what's on your Christmas wish list this year? I'm curious! Have a great day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

My Cricut NSSS is the BEST!

I'm a member of the Cricut message board, and last December I signed up for a year-long "secret sister" swap. The purpose was to send a "sister" a gift a month, and we were to remain a secret for as long as possible. Well, I did something that blew my identity pretty early on, and my secret sister, Sharon, figured me out. She's the secret sister that I send gifts to. Anyway, yesterday I received the most fantastic package in the mail! Look at this!

Everything was individually wrapped. Now, I just have to repeat it again. She's the secret sister that I send to! She's not supposed to be sending me gifts!

Look at the cute little stocking with a Cricut giant paperclip sticking out! Isn't that cute? She made that for me, and I love it!

Here's Princess, in the middle of everything, wondering what SHE gets to open! She's silly!

Not only did Sharon send me gifts, she sent gift bags full of great items for both of my girls! My girls were thrilled to be included in all of the excitement! Here is Emily posing next to her goodies. Both of the girls got a mini craft caddy, a flip flop key chain, a flip flop frame that they can alter, some birthday die cuts, a couple of chocolate Santas, and the coolest chipboard album by Karen Foster. WOW! Plus, Sharon remembered the girls' favorite colors. Emily's is blue, so she got a blue craft caddy!

Here's Jessica posing with her goodies. Her favorite color is lime green, so she got a lime green craft caddy. I have no idea when I mentioned what the girls' favorite colors were, but apparently I did, and Sharon remembered!

Now, here are MY goodies! Can you believe it? Such fun stuff! I got some candy, a monogram post it note pad with "C" for Carol, a handmade Cricut Santa ornament (so cute! I love it!), Paper Crafts Remodeled idea book (I was just going to buy this . . . I kid you not!), a snowman towel that Sharon made for me, a green M&M ornament (the green M&M is my Cricut message board avatar . . . I just love her . . . she's so sassy!), a gorgeous Creative Memories PicFolio scrapbook album (I've never seen these before, and it's just gorgeous! The band around it is magnetic!), and last but certainly not least, a gorgeous Willow Tree angel figurine. She's holding a metal piece that says "thank you". This figurine is just beautiful! Can you believe this? I was OVERWHELMED! Sending gifts to Sharon this year has been so much fun! She's been a delight to get to know, and she's just the nicest and sweetest lady! I not only got a fun not-so-secret sister to send to all year long, but I've also made a lifelong friend! I cannot believe that she would thank me for my gifts to her all year long in such a BIG way! Sharon, thank you! You overwhelmed me big time! I'm so appreciative of your kindness!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Holidays

My husband needs some holiday cards for a few business associates. This is what I came up with. I wanted something very simple, maybe a little elegant, and not too flashy. Did I succeed?

The "Happy Holidays" sentiment is from my "Frosty" Stampin' Up set. The patterned paper is DCWV from the Glitter Christmas Stack. I did a lot of ticket punching on the various layers. The gold ribbon is from JoAnn's, and the three gold brads are Making Memories.

Thanks for stopping by!

The Official Update on the Craft Fair

Hi Everyone! Thanks for all of your interest in the craft fair! So, my girls and I did the craft fair on Saturday. It was from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We had a lot of fun, even though we didn't make a lot of money!

Here's the three of us in our booth after we set it up. We had a nice lady two booths away take our photo. She was selling lots of holiday earrings, and I think Emily and Jessica were two of her BEST customers! The lady right next to us was also very nice! In fact, we bought the cutest Christmas gift for my very good friend Kathy! It's a . . . I can't tell you! Kathy checks my blog! Hi Kathy! You'll just have to wait to see!

This is the same photo, just closer. I love my photo browser on my computer! My girls are the BEST, and they were the greatest helpers!

So, let's take a look around the booth! Here's our small tree with all of our ornaments. The ones I made are the Hugs & Kisses, Jingle All The Way, You're Sweet (candy canes), and Snowman Poop. I was really surprised, but the ornaments didn't sell well at all. I didn't sell a single Hugs & Kisses, and only one Jingle All The Way! I honestly thought they were both very cute, and I can't understand why they didn't sell! I did sell quite a few Snowman Poops!

These are the Hershey Kiss tents. We only sold three of them! That's OK, I'll put these at everyone's place setting when we host our two gatherings this holiday season!

The Snowman Soup didn't sell at all! We sold four of them to a mom that is going to give them in addition to her treat bags when she hosts a boy's birthday party this month. This is also OK, because my youngest is going to take the rest to give to her 5th grade class for a Christmas gift.

This is my Bind It All book display. Pretty clever putting that box underneath the sheet!! We sold seven books. Once again, I can give these as stocking stuffers to all of the females we know this season! Plus, my girls LOVE these books, so they'll use them too!

So, I'll tell you exactly how I did. We sold $62.50, it cost $25 to be there, so we made $37.50. Was I disappointed? Well, yes, I would have liked to have sold EVERYTHING! Would I do another show? Sure, I would try it again. What would I do differently? I'm not sure! The things that I thought would sell didn't! I thought for sure the inexpensive ornaments would go like crazy!

I do know that the set up at this school wasn't the best for the crafters that were in the gym. The PTA had all of their merchandise in the common area that sits right in front of the gym. You HAVE TO walk through the common area before you get to the gym. I heard a couple of people say that they didn't even know there were craft booths in the gym! There was a sign telling them that there were crafters in the gym, but if they didn't see the sign, they didn't know! All in all, you can't predict or control what people want or will buy. It was a fun day with my girls, and it was something that I've wanted to try for some time now. Now, I need to switch into "getting ready for the holidays" mode! I'm way behind! I have a lot to do to finish up decorating, cleaning, and getting the house ready for TWO family gatherings that we're hosting! I don't have any of my own Christmas cards made, but considering I didn't sell a lot of cards, I can use the ones that I made for the craft fair. All in all, I need to get moving this week in preparation for the holidays!!

Thanks for all of the interest in the craft fair! You are all such wonderful blogging friends! And Andrea, our dog is an Australian Shepherd. She's spoiled but a sweetheart! I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Hershey Kiss "Tents"

Off to the craft fair I go! Before I do, I thought I would show you these!

These are little Hershey Kiss "tents". I've seen them before, but most recently on The Lucky Clucker's blog, and I decided to put some together for the craft fair. My youngest daughter and I made 24 of these in no time at all! There are 5 Hershey kisses inside. A glue dot is needed on the bottom of the two that are on the ends to keep them all in the "tent". All of the paper that I used is from the DCWV Glitter Christmas Stack.

Here's a side view. The stamp is from a Stampin' Up set that I have. Quick and easy. They would be cute on everyone's plate at a holiday gathering, don't you think?

I'll be back tomorrow to give you a full update on the fair! Off I go! Thanks for stopping by!

MY GIRLS!

I'm having fun playing with my NEW digital camera. All three of my girls are outside playing in the snow. It's the perfect photo-taking opportunity, don't you think?

This is Jessica, Princess, and Emily! Yep, I love them all, two of them more than the other. Sshhh, don't tell Princess that!

Thanks for stopping by!

Snowman Poop!

First off, if you've been looking at Tim Holtz's blog this week, can you tell me where to get those tags that he uses? I love the reinforced hole on the tags, and I love the color. So, where do you get them? Do I need to look at an office supply store?

Now to my ornament for today. Sorry, but I just couldn't resist! I had leftover mini marshmallows, and I've seen these before, and I just had to make some!

I typed the sentiment on the computer. The poem says, "I've heard that you've been naughty, So here's the inside scoop, All you get for Christmas, is this bag of SNOWMAN POOP!" Keep in mind that this is a PTA craft fair, and the majority of the shoppers are going to be young kids, so I thought they would LOVE these! I only made 11, because I ran out of small bags! The snowman is a Stampin' Up stamp, and I think he's adorable!

I have so much to do today, I'm freaking out a little! The craft fair is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. tomorrow. I'll be sure to let all of you know how it went! Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Planners

If you haven't been looking at Tim Holtz's blog this week, you need to start! He is giving AMAZING tutorials on Christmas Tags. It's the 12 Tags of Christmas! It that wasn't enough (and it is, the step-by-step instructions are so detailed), he's doing a giveaway every day. FUN! Go check it out! I have a huge shopping list thanks to him!

Today I'm showing you two Holiday Planners that I made on Saturday. They started off as pocket folders. Blue Moon Stamping has great pics of a planner, and so does Jan Tink. Check them out! Jan even has links for additional pages to put inside.

I already had these pictures taken with the camera phone, and I didn't retake them with the new digital. Sorry! The front of this planner has "holiday planner" stamped with the Karen Foster small snap stamps. It's matted a couple of times, and two cardstock stickers were added.

Here's the inside. I haven't added anything to the pockets yet, but I will add an envelope for receipts, some paper for a shopping list, and I'm not sure what else.

On this one, I stamped "holiday planner" with a Stampin' Up alphabet, but I can't remember which one I used. It belongs to my friend Queen Diva Sue! The snowflake and the Santa are also from Sue! In fact, all of the paper I used is from Sue! I provided ONLY the folders! The good thing is that she wants us to use up her stuff when we scrap in the Diva Den, so it's all OK!

This is the inside of the the 2nd one. The best part about these is that I didn't need to use the "pretty paper". Know what I mean? I could have used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding, Dasher, or Blitzen, sure . . . but it also looks great with the Christmas paper that's a little bit old, a little bit too bold, and kinda forgotten! Don't you think?

Ribbon was added to close them up. Here they are side by side. I'm happy with these. I think they turned out very cute, and I'm looking forward to making one that isn't holiday-themed. So, what do you think?
