I won some Blog Candy!
So, I will tell you about some Blog Candy that I won! My good blogging friend Dawn at Buggin' Around had a very fun blog candy . . . we had to guess what song she was named after, and we had to answer a couple more questions about the song/artist/year made, etc. It was FUN! I am happy to say that I won her blog candy, and I'm going to get this 8x8 Disney Princess page kit! Very cool!

My girls LOVED the Princesses when they were younger, and I have lots of fun pictures of them that I haven't scrapbooked, and I would love to get them in an album. This kit will be so PERFECT!

I snatched these photos off Dawn's blog. This kit looks just wonderful, and I cannot wait to play with it. Aw, I love all things girly, Disney, and Princess, so working with this kit is going to be delightful!! Thanks Dawn!
I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. We had some very threatening weather come through early this evening, the tornado sirens went off, but I have to admit, it didn't look too terrible, and luckily it all moved through very quickly. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!!

This tote is FANTASTIC! Yippee!
I also have some news to share with you. I'm very excited, because I uploaded my "Lucky" layout that I posted yesterday to Basic Grey's site, and they have accepted it for their gallery! My name actually appears on their site as a "designer"! How cool is that?
Well, I need to get some creating done today! I hope you have a fantastic day! Thanks for letting me toot my horn a little, and thank you for stopping by!

Snowman
I FINALLY used the wonderful "snow" cardstock stickers that I received as blog candy from my wonderful blogging friend, the very talented Samm. The cardstock stickers are so fabulous, that I wanted to really showcase them on a GREAT layout! These photos are my girls having a fantastic time in the snow in our backyard, and they're building snowmen. The papers are Bazzill, the border at the bottom was created with my Fiskars threading water punch, and I stamped the journaling block with an Autumn Leaves stamp. You can click on the photos to see them larger!
Here's just page one. My girls had so much fun, and yes, Princess is always posing for photos too! She loves the snow!
Look at that snowman cardstock sticker. Isn't it fantastic? It's joined together with jump rings, and there is a jewel hanging off the bottom. The snowman had a Christmas sentiment on its lower half, so I covered it up with another wonderful cardstock sticker from the pack. I'm just THRILLED with this layout. It's crisp, clean, simple, and I love it!

This is the pack of cardstock stickers that Samm sent me as blog candy. I'm sure you can see why I wanted to use them on a special layout. They're really fantastic!! Thanks again Samm!
I got some spring cleaning done yesterday, and I need to continue today. It's going to be another nice day! Yeah! Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!!

Drumroll Please! And the Winners Are!
Jessica picked #1. There were A LOT of entries for #1! The lucky winner is . . . .
Carole at Paper Arts! CONGRATULATIONS Carole!! Yippee!!
Emily picked the winner for #2. There were less entries in #2. Who is going to be the winner?
It's Nicola from My Paper World! CONGRATULATIONS Nicola! Woohoo!!
Thank you again to all of you that entered! A special thank you to all of you who posted photos! It was FUN to see you! Unfortunately, no one did the ad inspiration card. However, my own daughter, Jessica, created a card for my birthday inspired by an ad, so I'll have to get her a prize too! She tried it, and her result was spectacular! Thank you again! Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Easter! Fun things to show you!!
Yesterday I posted a card that I made for Sharon's funny card challenge. Today I want to show you the amazing happy mail that I received on Thursday from my very good blogging friend Sharon. Sharon is so talented! Her cards are gorgeous! She is a whiz with the Cricut. I recently won some blog candy from her. First and foremost, look at the GORGEOUS card that she sent to me!
Look at this Cricut Design Studio work! She designed the "friends" to cut out in the ric rac piece, and then she designed a scalloped shadow for the ric rac. Wow! The heart borders are fantastic too! I have a question to ask . . . does everyone but me use wire edged ribbon? I NEVER buy wire edged ribbon, and now I'm wondering why I don't, because the black and white gingham ribbon is wire edged, and it's fantastic! Plus, when I took the card out of the envelope, I was able to poof the bow right back up the way it's supposed to be! Cool!
Now look at the goodies I got from Sharon! Wow! I'm telling you, I am the luckiest lady in the blogging world, because I get so many wonderful items from my friends! There is a bag of buttons and pins, a bag of dew drops (these are so pretty -- Sharon used them in the middle of the hearts on the card that she made for me!), GORGEOUS Primas (will you just look at those colors!), My Mind's Eye "this and that" frames (these are fantastic when doing quick scrapbook pages!), and two of the cutest classic Winnie the Pooh sticker sheets. Thank you SO MUCH Sharon! Wow!
On Friday, I got this amazing birthday card from one of my SBS2 sisters, Kathleen! Kathleen is so talented, and it's wonderful to see one of her cards in person! This card is a 6x6 square folded in half! I love the size, and I'm going to have to make this size card myself. Kathleen LOVES cupcakes, and this card showcases them perfectly! (I love cupcakes too!) Thank you so much Kathleen! I love this card!
Happy Easter to you all! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mail & Busy Week!
As you can see, Princess is quite happy with her mail! I think she's starting to think that she has a "fan club"!
Plus, Marlou sent me wonderful blog candy goodies from her Valentine card challenge. I love it all, and I can't wait to use some of these embellishments! The sheer ribbon with the hearts on it is the same ribbon that Marlou used on her wedding invitations! It's gorgeous!
Last, I have to show you my new refrigerator magnet. I got this at a Hallmark store. Isn't this GREAT? Words to live by! Very funny to me! I told my girls that they should try to look at it every single day! Yesterday my youngest came up to me when I was at my computer, and she said, "Mom is there anything that I can do for YOU?" It was hysterical!! She said it because she had just walked past the magnet! My girls have a great sense of humor!
We have a hectic week ahead of us. Lots of stuff going on for my girls. I hope to squeeze in some crafting time! Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you!

Look at these flowers! Just gorgeous! I can't wait to use them on a special project!!

Here's one of the packages opened up and spread out for you to see. GORGEOUS! The color of these is so vibrant and rich! Plus, red is my favorite color! I love these! Thank you so much Beatriz!

Next, look at this gorgeous Christmas card that I got from Flossie! Flossie, thank you so much, I'm thrilled that you sent me a Christmas card! It's gorgeous! My photo doesn't do it justice! Look at that "Merry Christmas" ribbon! If you don't already visit Flossie on a daily basis, you really should! She's so creative and talented!
Thank you so much ladies! Who would have thought that I would be making such amazing blogging friends? Starting this blog was a good decision, because I've "met" so many wonderful people! Thank you again!
I have some really cute ornaments to share with you tomorrow! They were totally simple to make, but I think the kids at the craft fair will love them! The craft fair is on Dec. 8th, so I need to do all my finishing up next week! Have a great weekend everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Wednesday Post, Part 2

Samm made me this gorgeous card. Once again, the camera phone couldn't possibly do this card justice. It's vibrant and fantastic! I love the bling! The intricate and detailed black flower border / ribbon is just fabulous, and Samm added rhinestones to the flower centers. Isn't that beautiful? I love the tag and the chipboard letters. Just perfect! I love it Samm!

Here's the blog candy that she sent to me. I'm using Samm's photo from her blog. I told Samm in an email that I sent to her last night that I probably won't be able to use the Christmas and Snow themed embellishments on cards, because then I would have to give them away! I will probably use the majority on scrapbook pages, because then I get to keep them! The felt flowers are amazing! You should see how thick they are! The chipboard letters, the adhesive ribbon / lace, and the dotted ribbons are all fantastic too! I'm so thankful! This is overwhelming having all of these new goodies! Thank you Samm! I'm so appreciative!
Wednesday Post, Part 1

This is the GORGEOUS card that Theresa made for me. I love it! The image is so cute, I love the paisley paper, the colors are wonderful, and there is clear lacquer on the spots on the umbrella. I love the wide ribbon, and her knot is just perfect! I apologize for the camera phone shot, because it doesn't do the card justice. It's just fantastic!

She also sent this Thomas Kinkade card that she made. I love the subtle pale yellow coloring that she added to the image. This image is so detailed and really beautiful!

She stamped the image again for ME to use to create a card. I love this. I don't think I will add coloring to the image, because I think it's so classic and perfect in black and white. Once I create a card with it, I'm not sure I'll be able to give it away. I love this image, yet these are the kind of images that I never find myself buying, so it's a pleasure to get this from Theresa!

She also sent these images for me to use. I love them all. I will use them all on cards too!

Just a reminder . . . this is the fantastic blog candy I won. I'm using Theresa's photo again, because I couldn't possibly take a better photo of the wonderful goodies. I haven't used anything yet, but I will soon! It's just spectacular! The flowers are wonderful, and all the ribbon? WOW! Theresa, I seriously cannot thank you enough! I'm so terribly impressed and deeply appreciative of your kindness! THANK YOU!

I won Blog Candy!

This is what I'm getting! (Theresa, I hope it's OK that I copied the photo from your site!) We were supposed to guess the total number yards of ribbon combined with the total number of Primas. I guessed 166, and the actual number was 163. There are 40 yards of ribbon and 123 Primas, and they're going to be sent to me! Thank you again Theresa! What a way to start my day!
