This is the first kit. Audrey had the idea for us to create kits. We had to create TWO of the same kits. We kept one, and we mailed one to another member of the creative team. This is the kit I created, and I mailed the second one to Lisa. A lot of the kit was My Mind's Eye. The chipboard letters are Heidi Swapp, I stamped Autumn Leaves journaling stamps, and there are a tons of embellishments, including buttons, ribbons, rhinestones, Prima Sprites, and transparencies. Click on the photo to see it larger!
This is the first layout that I created using my kit. I absolutely LOVE silly photos! The girls and I took these on my birthday last year! I'm just thrilled with this page!
I was thrilled to find some photos that needed to be scrapped that REALLY worked well with the kit that I had! I mean, come on, the girls both have blue shirts on, and they're sitting on wood benches in front of a brick wall! Hello, blues and browns!! I used both transparencies on this layout. I really love the photo transparencies! So fun! You can click on all of the photos to see the projects LARGER!
I had so much left over, I decided to create a couple of fun cards. Plus, I hadn't cut into the crown paper, and I really wanted to use some of it!
You can always use extra birthday cards! I really love this one, because I think it can be used for a masculine card. I had SO MUCH FUN working with this kit! I cannot wait to see what Lisa did with it!! This was a great idea! Stay tuned the next few days, because I still have more reveals! I have layouts to show you using the kit that I received, and I have layouts to show you using the kit we received from our wonderful February sponsor, Beatriz Jennings at Iralamija / Dream Designs! Lots of FUN new work coming soon!
I hope you all have a GREAT day! Wow, it's cold out again. Brrr! I need to head to WalMart today. We needs lots of miscellaneous items! If you get a chance, check out my photo blog for a great photo of Emily! She got to play the Star Spangled Banner last night on her flute at a Regional Basketball game at the Junior High. It was quite an honor to be selected, and she did an AMAZING job! I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
