I'm participating in the Last Scrapper Standing at Memorable Seasons. I made it through the first round, and this is my entry for round two. We needed to use a black cardstock base and make at least two flowers. Love the challenge, and I love the way my layout turned out! I used Shimmerz Spritz for the title. I used a Tim Holtz alphabet mask for it. How fun! I used the same spritz on the white cardstock, and I cut nine layers for each flower with my Nestabilities. I love the way these flowers turned out!! I also did a lot of sewing on my page! Some close up views are below.

I like doing challenges, but only if I'll end up creating a page that I'll love! I definitely love the way this layout turned out!!

I hope you're having a great day! Enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Live Out Loud!

I was looking at all of my Pink Paislee stuff the other day, and I really wanted to use this 12x12 transparency. I found the perfect photo, cut it to size with my Coluzzle, and then assembled this page! I love the simplicity of this! I love sewing on transparencies too! This page is for a challenge at Scrap-Friendzy's Camp-Friendzy!! We are having such a great time camping!!

I hope you're having a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

My American Girls

I created this page for a challenge over at Memorable Seasons for their 2nd Annual Last Scrapper Standing contest! The first challenge was "An American Child", and we had to use stars and stripes on our layout. I love that this challenge could be interpreted in many ways, not just patriotic!! However, I had these awesome 4th of July photos of the girls with Princess, so I went all out Patriotic!! I used Pink Paislee Starlight, Cosmo Cricket Halfway Cafe, Rusty Pickle letters brads (thanks Chris!), Thickers, Maya Road acrylic sheer and kraft envelope, Jenni Bowlin journaling star, so many things from my stash (mostly Making Memories items), and I sewed! One of my favorite things that I added is the "made in the U.S.A." strip. It came from the bottom cutaway strip on the Pink Paislee paper!! It was fun to pull out a bunch of older items and put them on this layout!! I love the way this turned out!

I hope you're having a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Altered Notebook & A Layout!

I created both of these projects for the awesome challenges that are going on over at Scrap-Friendzy's Camp-Friendzy! Come over and check it out! It's a lot of fun!!

I altered a notebook for a pre-camp challenge. I used what I considered to be an obvious choice for a camp-themed challenge . . . Cosmo Cricket's Mr. Campy! I love the way this turned out! The blackboard shapes are so cool!

I created this layout for another challenge where we needed to use banners or flags on our layout. I used both! I cut the awesome banner from a sheet of paper from The Girls' Paperie, and I added two little travel-themed flag pins from Making Memories. I really like the way this layout turned out!

I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Camp-Friendzy Voting!

The voting for the first Camp-Friendzy challenge has begun! Go vote for your favorite THREE layouts!! What a fun first week!!

Caribbean Beach Resort

Scrap-Friendzy is having an AWESOME Camp-Friendzy competition. Come check it out! It's a weekly challenge competition. This is for the Archery Challenge! For the challenge, we could use any pictures or theme that we wanted. We needed to have at least 3 circle elements and an arrow on the page. Do you see the archery connection!?! :) For the circle elements, we could use circle-shaped cardstock of patterned paper, journal spots, die cuts, stickers, buttons, brads, etc. You just need to have 3 DIFFERENT types of circles! So, my circles are: large pattered paper background, title, journaling spot, and many brads. My arrow is a photo anchor that is on a flower, and it's pointing to my title. Plus, there is a "hidden" arrow on my layout! The large photo has a turn arrow on the pavement! Made me laugh to have a hidden arrow! Fun challenge, and I love the way my layout turned out!

I hope you're having a great day. Stop by at Scrap-Friendzy and play along!! Thanks for stopping by!

Awesome Sombrero!

I created this layout for one of the pre-camp challenges over at Scrap-Friendzy! Come on by and be one of our happy Camperz!! This was a recipe challenge. The C-A-M-P-E-R challenge was:

C - Use CARDSTOCK somewhere on your page

M - Use some form of METAL on your page
P - Use a PUNCH somewhere on your page
E - EMBOSS an element on your page

Fun challenge! Great recipe! I used 7 gypsies, Prima, We R Memory Keepers, and Jillibean Soup products on this page. I love the way it turned out!
