Creating!

I seriously do not think anyone visits my blog anymore, and that's totally OK, but I'll update it anyway with a couple of layouts I created this week, two of them last night!  FUN activity for New Year's Eve!

This is Simple Stories The Daily Grind.  LOVE this collection!  Last year I'll have a photo with both of my girls on back to school day!  Time is going by too quickly!

Jessica is the section leader of the mellophones in the marching band, and they are such a FUN section!  The title is *Mostly Mellos! because each photo has a non-mello members pretty much photo bombing the photo!

I had fun with my mists on this one!  I painted with them!  This is the senior t-shirt!  I cannot believe I have a senior who is graduating in 2014!  Seriously, time, slow down!  She's a beauty, and I love Emily with all my heart!  I couldn't be more proud of the amazing young lady she has become!

So, there you have it!  Layouts!  I haven't scrapped in so long with how busy everything has been!  It was fun to be creative again!  HAPPY 2014!  Make it a great year!  Thanks for stopping by!  :)

More Simple Stories Urban Traveler

My last DT kit for Memorable Seasons consisted of Simple Stories Urban Traveler.  I love the colors in this collection, and just because it's travel-themed, doesn't mean it doesn't work for other projects!

I created this and it hangs on the knob of the armoire in our family room!  You've been warned!  I have a camera, and I'm not afraid to use it!

I used a travel collection to create a Christmas layout!  I love these self-portraits I snapped on Christmas Eve with my sister Susan and my brother Tom!  I love the way this layout turned out!

We were challenged by the AMAZING Colette to use a chalkboard background and a chalkboard font, and then her second challenge was to scrap a self-portrait.  I loved both challenges, and I decided to combine them!  Colette does a lot of those dotty circles, so I copies those too!  I think this layout is really fun, and I love those chalkboard fonts!  The lattice is by Jillibean Soup . . . very cool!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

June Guest Designer at Memorable Seasons!

I am very excited to be the June Guest Designer at Memorable Seasons!  I got an awesome Simple Stories Summer Fresh kit to work with!  I have created A LOT with the kit already, but I'm just going to show you these two projects for now.  Here's a layout I created.

I love finding the crazy self-portraits that Emily and Jessica take on my camera!  They always make me laugh!  This is typical Emily and Jessica, and I love it!  I did a lot of angles and crazy sewing on this page to go with the CRAZY theme!  I also detail cut a camera from an Amy Tangerine Sketchbook paper!  I love that little detail!  The stamps I used are by Tim Holtz for Stamper's Anonymous.

This is a card I created with the collection.  I bought some fabulous May Arts ribbon, and I just had to feature it on my card!  You can find awesome products at great prices in the Memorable Seasons online store.  That's where I buy almost everything that I use when I scrapbook!

Stay tuned for a lot more projects using my kit!  Thanks for stopping by!
