I have been neglecting my blog!! That's OK though, because I've been spending lots of time with my girls! Emily has been home all week! She finished up summer school and was on a break from marching band. She starts back with all of the insanity on Monday! She will be at marching band practice A LOT! Anyway, here are some projects that I've done lately!
This one is for two challenges! The first is at Scrap-Friendzy. We're still participating in Camp Friendzy, and this week's challenge had a fishing theme! We needed to tie something onto our layout. I tied on a button and I tied some twine to the right of my title strip. The second is at Memorable Seasons. We were challenged to stamp at least three different stamps on our layout. I love to stamp, so no problem! I stamped my title, the beware sign, the funky skull, and the primitive man! I love these photos from Disney! I want those tiki totem poles in my backyard!! The papers are My Mind's Eye.
This Epcot layout was created with goodies that Suzanne sent to me! She sent a few of us an awesome kit, and we needed to create one layout. I'm an overachiever, so I created three projects! I'm so happy to be getting more vacation layouts done!
Another vacation layout, but this one is from Arizona! This watchtower was so totally cool!
I loved the chipboard shape that she sent, so I decided to create a personalized hanging for my scrappy area! I love this!
Here is the totally COOL kit that Suzanne sent to us! Isn't it fantastic!?! I had so much fun, and I still have some goodies left!
This layout was created for a challenge at Memorable Seasons to have a 12" swirl on your page and twelve hand cut flowers. Well, I did three flower stacks that contain four flowers each, and I cut the swirl from a sheet of My Mind's Eye paper. I'm not too sure I'm digging the swirl on this layout, but since I don't redo pages, it's staying! I do love the photo of my girls!!
This page was a recycling challenge at Scrap-Friendzy! We were to include recycled items on our page! I included a part of the ice cream box, a piece of corrugated cardboard, and a flower that I cut from plastic packaging. I love this photo of the girls and I. Those M&M ice cream sandwiches were VERY good! Yum!
So, I hope you've been having some summertime fun! It's been way too hot for me! I've been enjoying the air conditioning a little too much! I hope you enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Scrap Your Addiction
So, I joined a new site, and the ladies there are hysterical!! They make me laugh every day, and it's fun chatting with them! Anyway, Stacey issued a challenge to scrap your addiction! The only problem for me is which one!?! LOL!! I'm addicted to so many things! I chose just a few and showcased them on this layout! I love my sewing machine, ink, new products, and paint! I love the way this turned out!
I hope you're having a great day! Enjoy your weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Jumping For Joy
I created this layout for a challenge at Memorable Seasons to use a cardstock base and a household item to create a pattern. I used paint on bubble wrap as a big stamp, and then I also used corrugated cardboard to stamp some journaling lines. I liked the way the cardboard looked, so I added it to my layout. I stamped a Studio Calico stamp, and I also stamped two Unity stamps from the July stampin' store kit that I got from Crafty Steals! I love the butterfly! I didn't have a white corrugated Jillibean Soup "y" for my title, so I traced the negative, and I drew in lines so that it would fit in with the rest of the title. I love using paint on my layouts, and I really like the way this turned out!
I hope you're enjoying your weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

Some Cards!
I created this card for a wonderful blogging friend! I used one of my NEW Tim Holtz texture fades embossing templates. I also used the Tattered Floral Tim Holtz Sizzix die. I love those flowers! I also did a lot of distressing and some sewing. Last, I used my typewriter! I ♥ my typewriter!! I love the way this turned out!
I needed to send a sympathy card last week. I struggle with sympathy cards! This is mostly Jenni Bowlin, and once again, I used my typewriter for the sentiment!
This last card is not the best, but I wanted to use ONLY what I received as a prize from the amazing Stephanie at Crafty Steals! She sent so much, and this card features: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird, American Crafts flowers and rhinestone brad, and some Jenni Bowlin crepe paper ribbon.
I hope you have plans for a very fun weekend! Happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by!

How Can It Be?
This is for the Last Scrapper Standing challenge over at Memorable Seasons. I got kicked to the curb and didn't advance, but I love the next challenge, so I'm still playing along! LOL! I came across this photo of Emily and Jessica when I was sorting pictures. So, I journaled it with today's perspective. The title is: How Can It Be?, and the hand-written journaling reads: "That ten years go by in the blink of an eye? These girls amaze me on a daily basis! Being their mom is an honor and a privilege! Wow, I love these two!" Photo-11/4/99, Journaling-7/2/2010.
I really love the way this turned out! These two amazing girls are all grown up now! How can it be? I used distress ink, Making Memories papers, a Maya Road journaling sheer, I did some sewing, and added lace and ribbon. The crocheted flower was made by my Emily! Isn't it gorgeous?
I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
