the 4 of US!

I scrapped a photo from 2005 and posted it yesterday, and now here is one from 2007! I used to scrap strictly chronologically, but now? Not so much! However, I won't put them in my albums until I can do that in order!

I wanted to showcase this photo that was taken for Christmas 2007. To me, this is what Christmas is all about! There is nothing I would rather do than spend time with my family! I used Love, Elsie Noel papers, chipboard buttons, and ribbon. The paper is double-sided, and you can see both sides on my page. I also used a die cut sheet of Bazzill on top of red cardstock. I distressed the papers with chalk ink. The title was cut with my QuicKutz squeeze. I love the way this layout turned out!

I am totally engrossed in Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer! I got it on Saturday (thank YOU Amazon.com!), and I cannot put it down! I stayed up late last night reading it, and wow, is it good! Happy Monday to you all, and thanks for stopping by!

I agree about the scrapping in chronological order...I used too also...but now I'm just happy to have a page done.

This Christmas layout is so fun. I like the pp behind the picture.

Funny that you posted a xmas layout, I just told my hubby that I needed to start buying xmas presents. I know I start early but, its too expensive to wait.
Fun layout, I like the jagged edges & the title "the 4 of us" so sweet!

One of the most wonderful things about today's scrapbooking techs is that we aren't gluing some poor photo down, making it there forever and ever, and of course in the process ruining the photo. I love doing my LO's on paper, and then being able to change them in location or even scrapbook. I love your Christmas 2007 LO, Carol.... what a pretty family. Yep.

I love this layout and the blue makes a little non traditional! I am glad to hear that Breaking Dawn is good, I just started on New Moon.

See, what I mean, Carol....your photos just shine on your layouts. Your accents of paper, embellishments, etc. just add to the "wonderfulness" of this beautiful, beautiful photo!
