My first Criss Cross card

I was participating in the Lear Year Virtual Crop over at ScrapCity, and one of the challenges was to make a criss cross card. I've never made one before, so I decided to finally make one.

I used DCWV Pocket Full of Posies cardstock. For the insert, I punched two circles and mounted them back to back for a pull tab. I stamped "Be Happy!" so it can be see when the insert is in the card. I added some ribbon around the card band as well as a Prima and a rhinestone.

Here's a view of the card and the insert. What fun! There is a tutorial for the criss cross card on SplitCoast. Take a look!

I'm so far behind on blog hopping, but I hope to catch up in the next day or two. Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!

This card is so cute! And yes, I made the paper on that card in my site. I made an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of it and have used it for various cards. I have a file folder full of paper I made...I don't happen to like it all, though! But sometimes I find something good to use it for! :)

Very Bright and very cheerful looking Criss Cross card.

These are a blast to make. And so different from the everyday run of the mill A2 Cards.

So many cool things can be added to these cards.

Thanks for sharing some of your Artworks with us!..

Enjoy your day. :)
