Mother's Day & Father's Day 2005

I am so far behind on scrapbook pages! I just completed these two pages. They're for Mother's Day and Father's Day 2005. I need to get caught up! It's one of my resolutions and goals for 2008!

I used a My Mind's Eye Kaleidoscope kit that I got on QVC on both layouts. I'm going to be cranking out some pages in the next few weeks, and I will be using kits, because it makes them so much easier to get done. These two layouts kinda make me laugh. Can you tell I'm usually the photographer? Note to me: hand over the camera more frequently!

I love the photo that's in the frame at the top of this page! Those are my three favorite people in the whole wide world!

My girls go back to school tomorrow. I'm always sad when they go back after a break. I love having them at home. However, it is good to get back into our routine. We're off to do something fun today. Thanks for stopping by!

Carol, these are terrific! I am way behind in my scrapbooking too! I don't know why, but it's either cards or scrapbooking and I have been leaning more towards cards. Maybe because it takes me 30 minutes to do a card and a SB page can take me a couple of days. LOL

These are both such great layouts, what a lovely way to remember past mother's day and father's day.

Thank you for the comments on my blog about the layouts of me when I was little - the one about me still being cute made me giggle!

I think we're on the same path...putting some precious memories onto paper. I have a an assortment of kits that I bought at CK Expo when it came to Valley Forge in July of 2006 and 2007. I finished up a few pages the other night that I had started from scratch and am going to work on a layout a week (at least that's the plan).

Tonight though, I've spent some time going through fellow SBS2 sites and playing tag. You're it!

The rules of the game:
• Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
• Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog, we all want to know them.
• Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
• Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

I have had fun reading several of the responses and writing my own. Hope you enjoy it as well!
