Summer Vacation

I had a lot of fun participating in a virtual crop at ScrapCity this weekend. One of the design team members put all of the message board members in a list, and you were supposed to scraplift from the person above you on the list. The person above me had a layout in the gallery that featured two large flowers, a lot of pink and green, rhinestones, and swirls. This was my "take" on her layout.

I decided to finally scrap some photos from Summer 2005! My girls are so little in these photos! I used My Mind's Eye Kaleidoscope papers. I featured two large Prima flowers on top of stamped swirls. I added rhinestones to the Prima centers. I also added a swirl, a Prima, and a rhinestone in the lower left corner of the layout. On the photo frame in the upper left corner, I tied some American Crafts ribbon around one of the sides.

I love these photos of my girls running through the backyard sprinklers!

These photos show my girls with some crafts that they made at the library. Fun stuff! I used StazOn ink, and I stamped overlapping on one of the photos. I love the way it looks! I used some Autumn Leaves and ki Memories stamps on these pages.

Well, my girls are off today in honor of Casimir Pulaski, so we'll just be hanging out at home. They both have a couple of projects for school to work on, so I'll be seeing if they need any help with those. Other than that, what a cruddy day outside. It's dark, gloomy, and very rainy. Yuck! I'm still behind on blog hopping, and I probably won't catch up with that until tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful layouts Carol, I love those papers and colours they are so summery. The photos are fab, don't children grow so quickly but a lovely keepsake. Glad you liked the new photo, it's there to remind me how thin I got and how I am going to be again this time next month!!

Thanks for hopping over to my blog. I'm glad your girls like the door hanger, I'm on a mission this week to do one fore each of my girls, so I will have my hands full. My picture of Cannes is mesmorizing now that you say, the clouds are so dark but it was nice and warm and then barely sprinkling rain for a few minutes but it was great anyway. My husband and I took a 17 day Mediterrean Cruise for our "late" honeymoon in 2006 and it was the best thing ever! I also am due for another vacation... :)

Great pages Carol! How can they be anything else with such adorable little girls as the focus? I noticed the overlapping stamp--great touch!
