I am so EXCITED!!
Imaginisce is featuring the projects that I created on their blog today!! I just can't believe it! I contacted Lori at Imaginisce about the AWESOME Polar Express November Card Kit from Paper Popsicles! I told her that I was having so much fun working with their Polar Expressions collection, and she then told me that she would feature ME, this fantastic card kit, and Paper Popsicles on the Imaginisce blog! How cool is that!?! Thank you Lori! Please go check it out on the Imaginisce blog, and be sure to leave a comment!
I'll be showing you MORE of the projects up close in the next couple of days! I had so much fun creating with this kit! Look at how many Christmas cards I already have made!!

Merry & Bright
This is a card that features an ornament and a sentiment from the fantastic NEW Bulbs For The Tree Printable Stamp Set from The Cutting Cafe'. I did some paper piecing with Basic Grey paper, and I used my Martha Stewart loopy punch. I added some sheer ribbon and a trio of red Kaiser Pearls. It's VERY gloomy here today, so the photo is not the best. I really love the way this turned out though! You can click on the photo to see it larger.
I hope you're having a great day. Thanks for stopping by!

SCREAM!
This card is for two challenges over at Paper Popsicles. First, it's based on Tricia's Wacky Wednesday Sketch #5, and it's also for Lora's "fortune of color" purple challenge. I don't "do" purple. It's not my favorite color, and I really don't use it in crafting. So creating a card in purple WAS a challenge for me! Thank goodness it's close to Halloween, and luckily for me, I came across a perfect cardstock sticker all in purple! After that, my card was EASY! So, two challenges . . . DONE! Play along if you get a chance!
I hope you're having a great day. Thanks for stopping by!

This is my sassy GIRL pumpkin that I created with the pumpkin shaped card template that was the Friday Freebie over at Paper Popsicles. Since it's Monday Madness Show 'N Tell, I thought I would show her to you! Isn't she fancy? I hand cut the eyes, nose, and mouth. I love the eyelashes! I add googly eyes, a flower, and a button. I think I need to send this to my niece! I'm thinking she'll really like it!
I hope you had an excellent weekend! Enjoy your Monday. Thanks for stopping by!

Where's Dale?
I am just thrilled when I get another Disney layout done! They're so fun to work on, but there's just not enough time in the day! This layout is based on a sketch that is posted on the Paper Popsicles blog. The sketch worked great for this awesome photo of Emily and Jessica with Chip at Epcot. The journaling reads, "On November 11, 2008, while we were at Epcot, Emily & Jessica got a chance to meet Chip and get his autograph. However, since Chip & Dale are always together, I just kept wondering . . . " "Where's Dale?" That really IS what I was thinking! I still don't know where Dale was! Anyway, this layout is Scenic Route papers, journaling die cut, and arrows. I used my Martha Stewart loopy punch on the photo mat, and I also added some American Crafts ribbon. You can click on the layout to see it larger. I think this turned out really CUTE!
I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Cards for Swap
We're having a fall card swap over at Paper Popsicles, and this is the card that I made for everyone. I didn't really do a fall theme, but I did select fall colors! I love the sentiment, "too much of a good thing is simply wonderful!", and I couldn't agree with it more! I used My Mind's Eye papers, my Martha Stewart loopy punch, and a Prima. I really like the way these turned out, and I hope everyone in the swap likes them too!
Here are all of the cards! I love the color combination!
I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Wacky Wednesday Hump Day Sketch #3
This is a card I made for Tricia's Wacky Wednesday Hump Day Sketch #3 over on the Paper Popsicles blog. I used papers and chipboard from the $1 spot at Target. I also used a Fiskars punch to get that cool "square" shape. I tied on some sheer black ribbon, and I really like how you can still read through it.
Here's the sketch! Play along if you get a chance. You could win a $10 gift certificate to the Paper Popsicles online store! Now, that's an awesome prize!

Let's Eat!
Anyone who really knows me knows that I really love to eat! The sentiment "Let's Eat!" from the Happy Thanksgiving Huge Word Circle Word set available at The Cutting Cafe', just cracked me up, and I just had to feature it on a Thanksgiving card. Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for everything wonderful in our lives, but it is also a time to eat! I used My Mind's Eye papers, my Martha Stewart loopy punch, some raffia, a button trio, a maple leaf brad, and lots of distress ink. I love all of the colors on these papers! It's very gloomy outside today, so I had a tough time getting a good photo. You can click on the card to see it larger.
I hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

Another Halloween Project!
I have another Halloween project to show you today. My girls and I worked on these decorations. We made "witches' brooms" with lunch-size paper bags. The other paper bags (in the center above) are smaller, were purchased at Michael's, and we're going to make those too, fill them with candy, and use pretzel rods for the handles. I'll show you those sometime before Halloween! I also got out some raffia. I got the raffia from a corporate gift basket that my husband received a while ago. Gotta love that . . . it was FREE!
Cut the bags in thin strips. Do not cut into the bottom of the bag.
Take a second bag, and cut thin strips down 2" - 3". This will be your inside bag.
Here's just a close up of the inside bag with the shorter cut strips.
The outside bag needs to be opened. You will open the inside bag, and place it on top of this bag. If you want, you can fill the inside bag with candy. We filled ours with plastic bags from the grocery store, because we want ours to be a decoration.
Gather the outside bags with all of the strips cut, and tie all of the strips together with the raffia. My girls were working on this too!
I then got out all of my Halloween stamps (there are dog stamps in one of the containers too!), scraps of patterned paper (we all ended up using the Rusty Pickle scraps!), a black ink pad, and a paper trimmer (thank goodness I got that paper trimmer for FREE, because it kinda stinks!)
We all stamped a couple of image, cut them to size, and then tied them to our brooms! The last touch was a stick for the broom handle. I picked these up off the ground while taking Princess for a walk. I was worried about embedded bugs, so I washed them in VERY hot water with soap. You can click on the photo to see them larger. They turned out really CUTE!
Here they are outside on a bench on our front porch. In the two photos above, they were created by (from left to right) Emily, me, and Jessica.
Here they are in front of our fireplace (yes, our fireplace is empty! We need some gas logs!) This time they were created by (from left to right), Jessica, me, and Emily. Aren't these fun!?! Be sure to click on the photos to see them larger! We'll be making the candy bags with the pretzel rod handles soon! I'll be sure to post them!
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

This is the AMAZING October Loud Talker kit that is the GRAND PRIZE for the Creepy, Crawly, Blog Stomp! It's filled with Sassafras goodness and amazing goodies! WOW, what a prize!
Now I want to share with you MY ghoulish project!! I made Halloween Treat Bags with Decorated Toppers! These are fun and very easy to make! This is an awesome project for kids to take to school for all of their friends!
I started off by gathering some fun Halloween papers (Haunted by Cosmo Cricket which are available in the Paper Popsicles online store, and they are on SALE today!!), snack size baggies, some cardstock, and some awesome Halloween stamps by Pink Paislee. And of course, there is CANDY!
I measured the width of the bag. My bag is 6.5" wide.
I'm going to make the base of the bag topper with cardstock, and I'm going to decorate it with patterned paper.
I cut my cardstock 6.5" wide, and I want it to be 1.5" tall, so I cut it 3" (half will be in front, and the other half will be in back.) I then score the 6.5" x 3" piece of cardstock at 1.5".
Then, I cut my patterned paper to mount on top of the topper sheet. So, this patterned paper was cut 6.25" x 1.25" so that it would sit matted on the bag topper front.
I fill the snack size baggie with candy, and I attach the cardstock topper. In order for it to stay secure during stapling, I add a little bit of adhesive to hold the bag in place.
I then staple three times. I make sure to staple to the front. I want the smooth edges of the staple in the back. I also make sure that I staple OVER the zip loc strip. This just makes it more secure.
If I planned on JUST decorating the front (which you can do if you want to save on patterned paper), I would want the SMOOTH part of the staple to the back. That way, no one can hurt their fingers on the staples.
Now, I stamp some fun Halloween stamps on scraps of paper. I love these Pink Paislee stamps! (BTW, these stamps are one of the MANY prizes during the blog stomp!!)
I add the patterned paper to the bag topper cardstock (hiding the staples!), and I add the cut out stamped images too. I also used my Cropadile to punch two holes in each topper, and I added some ribbon!
Here are my finished Halloween Treat Bags with Decorated Toppers! What do you think? I think they're SPOOKTACULAR!! You can click on any of the photos to see them larger.
I guess you want your other treat too? The treat on my blog is "SCREAM AND".
Now that you have been scared into the season, don’t forget to leave a comment, then head over to Amy's blog next!
Enjoy the rest of the Paper Popsicles Creepy, Crawly, Blog Stomp!! I hope you enjoyed your visit! Thanks for stopping by!

Unique
This is a card that I created for a Unity Challenge on SCS. The challenge was to create a card that's shiny and glittery. I used my Le Chic Vintage stamp set and Jillibean papers. The diamond plate is metallic tape that I ran through my Cuttlebug. I added a couple of fun Making Memories buttons on silver cord. I added rhinestones and glitter Thickers, and I painted on some Shimmerz and Blingz. This card is very shiny and glittery!
I hope you're having a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

This is a Halloween version of the crimped envelope card! Look, it has some candy inside!!
I also posted about color and design inspiration being found anywhere! I just so happen to find mine in Target! I love that store, and I love these pillows. I actually took a picture of them when I was shopping with my girls! I was inspired by both, but I used the rainbow pillow as inspiration for a card!
Here's my rainbow card! I used all paper scraps! I kept the sentiment simple with a Stampin' Up stamp which I cut out with my Coluzzle, and I added some sheer ribbon. I think this is a FUN card! So, check out more inspiration at Paper Popsicles today! There will also be a lot of posts on the blog throughout the day! Have fun!! Be inspired! Get creative!
Have a GREAT day! Thanks for stopping by!
