I hope to create some NEW things over this long Labor Day weekend. However, it's going to be a busy weekend, so we'll see how that goes! Until I get a chance to create something new, here's another card I made a while back.
I've mentioned before how we have year long "sisters" on the Cricut message board. My sister participated in a Cricut Crop at a LSS, and I decided to send one of her monthly gifts in the form of a gift certificate for that scrapbooking store. I couldn't have done it without the cooperation of the woman who was organizing the event. I sent her this card plus a check for a gift certificate, and she took care of the rest. I told my sister that she was to spend it on some items that she normally wouldn't buy. It was so be an indulgent purchase! She was very surprised, and she purchased some fun items!
This is an 8.5" x 5.5" card. The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus, and the chipboard letters are Heidi Swapp. I added some rhinestones to the centers of some of the flowers. I typed up "Surprise Sharon!" three times in Word Art, and I formed it in a circle. I used my Coluzzle to crop the circle and a shadow circle, and I put a Prima in the center. The rick rack ribbon is Sticky Stitches that I've had for a long time! I like the look of this card! It's very soft, and a little different from what I normally create, but I like it!
Thanks for stopping by!
